Volcano did a master bath remodel for us. The project was completed efficiently and on time. All of their workman were courteous and hard working. When we had a couple of material delivery delays they kindly adjusted their schedules. Their pricing was fine and the terms of the contract were fulfilled. We highly recommend Volcano Building.

Overall, we had a great time with Volcano Builders. There were a few small delays, but they were clear in their communication and kept things moving. The last kitchen remodel turned out great, and the quality seems like it will last for a long time.

Questions

Questions about our projects

How much does a remodel like these cost?

Each project page shows an approximate investment where we have a source for it. On our bathroom pages, the middle half of the projects ran about $30,000 to $55,000. The kitchen pages run about $35,000 to $85,000, and the whole home pages about $90,000 to $220,000. Every project is priced in writing, line by line, for your home. For what moves the price, read the Remodeling Pricing Guide for Seattle and Bellevue, WA.

How long does a remodel take?

Where our invoices date the start and the finish, a bathroom or shower took from about two weeks to about 18 weeks, for example about 12 weeks for the Black Marble-Look Basement Bathroom in Redmond, WA and about 13 weeks for the Tub to Walk-In Shower Bathroom Remodel in Kirkland, WA. The White Shaker Kitchen and Laundry Remodel in Burien, WA took about 10 weeks, and the Split-Level Whole Home Remodel with a Marble Fireplace in Renton about seven months. Every dated project is listed in How Long Does a Remodel Take in Seattle and Bellevue?

Do I need a permit for a remodel?

It depends on your city and on the work. Moving plumbing, electrical work and structural changes usually need permits, and our project records show electrical and plumbing permits on bathroom jobs. Every project we take on gets a design and permit plan built around your city's rules, and the same team designs, permits and builds the project.

Are these real projects?

Yes. Every project on this page is a real Volcano Builders job with photos from that job. A city is named only when our records or the photo location prove it, so some pages show no city. We never use stock photos for our work.
