Volcano Builders now offers Signature Spaces, a new line of six rooms for homes in Bellevue and across the Eastside: spa baths and wellness retreats, golf simulator rooms, home theaters, dressing rooms, wine walls and outdoor living. One design-led team will plan the room, prepare the permit documents and build it, with the equipment specialist inside the same plan.

Starting prices for Signature Spaces
At the Basic tier, Signature Spaces start at $30K+ for a sauna room, $40K+ for a walk-in closet suite, a library or a glass wine wall, and $50K+ for a media lounge or an outdoor kitchen. A detached pool house starts at $325K+. Each room page shows all four tiers: Basic, Mid-Range, Luxury and Super-Luxury.

We take on high end remodeling inside 35 miles of our main office in Bellevue. That covers Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Yarrow Point, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Woodinville and Seattle neighborhoods such as Laurelhurst and Broadmoor.

Questions about Signature Spaces
What is a Signature Space?
A Signature Space is one of six rooms we now offer to design and build as its own project: a spa bath or wellness retreat, a golf simulator room, a home theater or media room, a dressing room, a wine room or wine wall, or an outdoor room or pool house. Our design team plans each room, and a specialist partner supplies the equipment.
Who supplies the equipment?
A specialist partner supplies, installs and calibrates it: an AV integrator for theaters, a golf integrator for simulators, a sauna builder for saunas and a cellar specialist for wine cooling and racking. The partner joins the design before framing, so the room is built for the equipment. We name each partner on this page once our agreement is signed.
Do you build pools?
No. A partner pool contractor builds the pool shell. We design and build the pool house, outdoor kitchen and covered rooms around it. Inground pools in Seattle cost $52,500 to $135,000 (Angi, updated May 2026).
What do the starting prices include?
Starting prices include construction of the room, project management, the specialist package for that configuration and a standard finish material allowance for each tier. Design fees, city permit fees, WA sales tax, appliances you buy and finish upgrades beyond the allowance are not included, and we price them in writing if your project needs them.
How long does a Signature Space take?
It depends on the room. You get a detailed written estimate before any work starts. As a guide: plans and 3D views for one bath take 4 to 6 weeks, Bellevue permits take from the same day to about 3 weeks, and a spa primary bath takes 10 to 18 weeks on site. A basement lower-level suite takes 14 to 22 weeks on site.
